3rd Newsletter of our Greencademy project

The Greencademy project equips youth workers with tools to inspire green skills and sustainability. Our latest newsletter shares updates on what we’ve been doing and what’s coming next!

Short Update

Youth workers from Germany, France, Romania and Poland recently tested workshops to teach young people about sustainability. These "practice sessions" helped teams refine activities like eco-business challenges, green city design, and personal eco-goal setting. The goal was to make learning about the environment fun, practical, and adaptable for all kinds of communities, from big cities to small towns.

Key Takeaways

Teams discovered creative ideas, like designing eco-friendly cities with solar panels and parks, or pitching business plans for recycled fashion brands.

Challenges included time management (activities often were long), explaining instructions clearly and adjusting to the group.

Youth workers learned to adapt activities for different ages and backgrounds, making sustainability accessible to everyone.

What’s Next?

The Greencademy partners; Next Level e.V. (Germany), Rakonto (France), ARYAS (Romania), and Europa Iuvensis (Poland) will use these lessons to help youth workers and students lead exciting sustainability projects in their communities.

The insights and outcomes from this event will contribute to a comprehensive online Toolkit for youth workers. This resource will provide practical tools and methodologies to support young people in the Green Transition.
