How Digital Skills Are Empowering Youth to Save the Planet

Imagine a world where young people take the lead in environmental protection, armed not only with passion but also with digital skills.

Youth Take Action

The Enviro-Digital Youth Project, funded by Erasmus+, is an initiative that aims to equip youth workers with the digital tools they need to promote environmental protection. Through hands-on training, creative campaigns, and international collaboration, EDYP hopes to turn environmental awareness into meaningful action.

What’s the Project About?

EDYP focuses on:

  • - Training 60 youth workers to create engaging digital content on environmental issues.
  • - Launching online campaigns to reach 200 young people, prioritizing those with fewer opportunities.
  • - Building strong cross-border cooperation between organizations in Greece and Romania.

What Will Happen?

Participants will gain skills in using social media, designing videos, and crafting digital campaigns to highlight pressing environmental issues like climate change. The project will prioritize inclusivity, empowering youth from diverse backgrounds to participate and lead.

Why You Should Care?

We live in a digital age where the fight for environmental sustainability is not just fought on the streets but also on screens. The Enviro-Digital Youth Project is tapping into the power of digital media to mobilize a new generation of climate advocates. It’s not just about teaching skills — it’s about changing the world.

EDYP will combine digital innovation with environmental advocacy, creating a network of youth workers ready to inspire change in their communities. By leveraging technology, the project will ensure its message reaches far and wide, sparking action for a sustainable future.
