As part of the SEED2STEM – Planting the Future of Education project, ARYAS continues to work alongside partners from Croatia, Bulgaria, and Türkiye to bring STEM closer to young people through practical applications in sustainable agriculture.
Agriculture is a vital part of our lives, but it is also a field undergoing rapid transformation due to technological innovation. SEED2STEM aims to show young people how these two worlds – agricultural tradition and technological innovation – can work together to create a greener and more sustainable future.
Launching the IoT Curriculum for Smart Agriculture
Recently, the project successfully completed Work Package 4, which resulted in the creation of an Internet of Things (IoT) curriculum tailored to agriculture. This educational resource guides young people step-by-step on how to connect a digital incubator to the internet and manage it intelligently to save resources and increase efficiency.
In parallel, the project is developing the AGRO STEM online platform, which already offers modules such as “Programming Basics” and “Digital Incubator.” The next major milestone is the creation of the AGRO STEM interactive game, designed to make learning even more engaging. The game will integrate elements from the IoT curriculum and other platform modules, allowing users to apply their knowledge in a fun and practical way.
SEED2STEM focuses particularly on young people with fewer opportunities, providing them with free access to materials and activities that can open pathways to careers in green and technology-driven sectors. By connecting expertise and experiences from four countries, the project builds a European network for sustainable education.

SEED2STEM in Action: Testing the AGRO STEM Game with Children in Albeștii de Argeș
As part of the Erasmus+ project SEED2STEM, we organised a local testing session of the AGRO STEM game to observe how children interact with the prototype and what they take away from the experience.
